I need this real bad.

I really need $50 for a new video card for my pc.
My old one, the caps busted on it.
I've been without internet for the last month. I've been using my zune hd to get online, and I can't use that any longer. The internet sucks on they.
And I have no money to buy a new one, and no job.
My family wont help me, and I have no friends to ask.

I dont even need a new one, it can be an old one, just as long as it works.
Or if anyone knows someone who just have a video card laying around and not being used, you can possibly send it to me. Only thing is that it either has to be pci or pci-e.
Also being that I would be using this on an old tube tv, it also has to have svideo on it.

I know NOTHING about video cards, but are they universal? I mean, do you need a specific video card? I have a video card (i think) from a laptop that is no longer working and if that would help, I can send it to you.

Laptop video cards don't work on desktops.
Laptops have mobile video card that are intergrated onto the motherboard.
I need either a pci or pci-e(aka pci-16).

Oh, ok. You didn't say you had a desktop, just a PC. I have a tower here we don't use anymore. I can ask my husband if ours would be compatible with yours.

I'm using vista, and I don't even know if that will boot with that card being that it's only 8mb video.

Was just reading vista recommemended specs, 256mb of video ram.
Or miminium is 156.

I've told you over and over again I really do want to help but I'm in some trouble of my own right now I'm trying to get the rest of my Network payments made. They are already late. I've spent $400 extra dollars out of my own pockets than wish offers have been done for. I was thinking of getting one from tigerdirect.
But I was just looking at amazon, they have a more powerful one then I used to have, and it's a lot cheaper then at tigerdirect, that were going for about $30-$35.
So it doesn't matter where I get it from, as long as I get one.
